  1. I ordered this book with intentions of using it for a 10-week class. I could not find it anywhere else, any faster so…I ordered it from this company. Little did I know that it would take much much longer. So, I emailed the company to ask “Where is my book?”. The answer I received was that my order was lost and the product would not be shipped and a refund would follow. That did little to solve the problem of a textbook for the class. My advice to you…Spend the extra money and find your book elsewhere!! Terrible service and no consideration!

  2. I found this book boring and not all that practical. It reads like a university textbook rather than a helpful resource for e-learning designers and developers. The example screens are often busy and it is often difficult to perceive the point that is being made. I live by the 80/20 rule, and wish that this book focused on the 20% of the content that will give 80% of the benefit.

  4. I was looking for a book that could provide tips on making online education more engaging. This book was rated highly by other reviewers so I pulled out my credit card and bought it. But I have to agree with another recent review: it’s just too boring! The book is written in a style that is very formal and isn’t very engaging. I’m a little disappointed that a book about instruction techniques isn’t better written and a setting a good example of it’s content.
