   SEO is an important factor in getting high rank in search engines. Though getting into SEO by yourself with a little knowledge about the same will eat up much of your precious time. For example submitting your website manually to 100s of directories is a tiring job. Moreover, all the directories that are available in the internet today won’t help much in driving more traffic to your site. To get good results directories like dmoz.org should be used.    Very important if you want a broad based online marketing presence.

   Consider if you were only to purchase traffic from Google’s Adwords and yet had no noticeable organic search results…wouldn’t that clearly call you out as somewhat of a “newb” to the space if you didn’t have some organic listings? Especially important if in a tough market where your competition has both paid and organic listings.

   The more you can get your site out there the better.

   Well before u even think of hiring someone you shoudl always look through their portfolio. I tried someone named ashoke banerjee and i learned that link building is about knowledge of links not volume of links.
