It doesn’t matter what they Government thinks about gambling being a problem it would protect families more for it to be regulated but the Gov’t has no right to strip us of our rights and freedom’s.

Bill Frist is the same asshole who said he can make an accurate diagnosis of someone by just watching a video regarding the whole Terry Shiavo fiasco that took place several years ago. Most folks would call these fake ass Christian politicians like Frist a “Hypo Christian”.

im pro freedom and pro gambling however it is not the pro family gang that attacks second amendment rights and just voted in the house to give the FDA the power to regulate tobacco which is backdoor prohibition. Actually when government takes your freedom away it is always bipartisan. The online gambling was passed by a bipartisan vote just like the FDA tobacco bill passed with bipartisan support. If the tobacco passes senate thank God anti prohibition will veto it.

lets ban tobacco, alcohol, repeal first amendment ie porn or anything that may offend somebody, repeal second amendment, ban all gambling not just online gambling, ban abortion, seatbelt laws, lets ban trans fat. If there are any other freedoms, rights, liberties and choices that you can think of let me know we must try to take them away as well. Look we owe our children a freedomless country with no rights and choices.

The Online gambling ban is a joke. How the fuck can you actually ban something like that on the internet?? You’d have to have the NSA monitoring everyone’s Internet activity or something like that. It’s just not possible! Lots of people do it anyway regardless of whether it’s illegal. And what is the punishment? 5 years in prison? 2? 100 days?

  9. rog17s on January 17th, 2010 9:26 am

yeah they should both be repeatedly punched in the face for being such douchebags.

Gambling is a bad thing period and this is coming from the mouth of a person who didnt miss a week at the casino in 3 straight yrs. We know the crooks are only interested in themselve’s! Heck why do you think they allow tobacco? so they can collect the tax off it then right around retirement time it kills alot! meaning no social security needs to be paid, lol

  11. Timm72 on January 17th, 2010 10:11 am

They have good reason to ban it, see when you earn as much as they do, you don’t need to gamble to have fun!

Skill is involved in some of the games. IT is called percentages. And even when people lose cash fun was had so to me that is the same as spending it with some other time waster.

  16. BurningPlanet on January 17th, 2010 11:56 am

I agree. The press has let us down again. Too interested in the latest in the Paris Hilton saga, I suppose.

  17. BurningPlanet on January 17th, 2010 12:49 pm

People do a lot of dumb things. People eat bad food, waste time on TV, lots of stuff. But it should all be legal. If did our driving laws assuming the worse like this driving would be illegal!

  18. BurningPlanet on January 17th, 2010 1:40 pm

The proble is that stations are often corrupt as well and would never air things like this which expose the politicians. Our mmedia is run through the same corporations which corrupt the politicans. All means of communication are controlled, so people remain ignorant.

  19. BurningPlanet on January 17th, 2010 2:26 pm

I liked it. Exposing these people must be a full time job but I’m glad someone is on the case. I’ll support it as much as I can.

  20. sabesin2001 on January 17th, 2010 2:35 pm

  23. kajamix on January 17th, 2010 3:38 pm

    it’s all about taxes.
if you accept state monopoly but insist upon campaigning in favour of fair prices they kick you down the stairs.

  24. lotteryjerk on January 17th, 2010 3:56 pm

Isn’t it ridiculous that the “Land Of The Free” has these kind of restrictions?! Oh well, e-Play is coming and it gets around this stupid hypocrisy!

  25. Catt001 on January 17th, 2010 4:29 pm

Well you certainly did your research… I can’t say I’m that big a fan gambling in general but I applaud you for calling them on their hypocritical actions. I suppose we should expect this though… they ARE politicians… telling people what they want to hear is how they get elected
