This is a stupid statement, having 4wd isnt necessary for 90% of the driving these vehicles will be used for. Constant 4wd is just a waste of gas.

This review is a crappp
GLK is the only one which has a full time 4wd, the rest r AWD, being 4 wd just some times. That puts the other 3 a step behind GLK right away.

SRX is another balloon from GM… right now nobody knows anything about the old SRX… it is long forgotten… it will be the same with the new SRX after few years it will be long forgotten…

Where was the Cadillac SRX ? In my opinion the Cadillac would be on top of the list the SRX is a world Class Crossover small SUV and the best looking of the bunch…..

If only the RX had a more natural steering feel, and didn’t lean so much. Other than that it’s really nice.

Actually volvo xc60 was the winner in a swedish winter test and normal test, and it’s the safest SUV

Ford makes good cars. I know by experience that their trucks are rock solid. I’ve heard mixed reviews about VW. As for Saturn, I’ve always thought they were reliable cars, but I have never owned one so I can’t really comment on it.

which is precisely why I didn’t say bmw/mercedes’ reliability is any better. I know people who owned mercedes and which have been nothing but garbage, and there are those who have had excellent ownership results. I also know jeep owners who have had the same experience. Currently, we own an 09 focus, 08 passat, and 07 aura xr. The ford and vw have been PERFECT…the aura however….damn…what a nightmare!!! I wouldn’t wish this many problems on my worst enemy!!!

I see your point. However, I wouldn’t rely on Consumer Reports. Only CR subscribers can offer input on their vehicles. They also rated BMW in the bottom of the list. Even though I realize BMWs are far from perfect, they don’t deserve to be among the worst in reliability. Jeeps are reliable. I’m a member of several Jeep clubs and don’t hear many complaints. I have 80K miles on my WK and have nothing to complain about. I also have a Dodge Dakota that I use as a daily beater. No problems whatsoever

I don’t see how you think I’m bashing your car. Just look at consumer reports review on jeep/chrysler/dodge reliability, it’s a big black circle. I’m not saying that the mercedes or bmw are any better, I’m just saying that they are no where near the same level to compete…juss that they are pretty much an suv. I don’t have to have basis for anything because I’m not “bashing” one over another, what I said is simply the truth!
