Surprisingly Simple: Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor, and LLC Taxes Explained in 100 Pages or Less
This book is AMAZING, breaks down everything for a starting business. As a beginner this resource is a MUST HAVE, everything is explained clearly and specifically. Short, sweet and to the point.
Rating: 5 / 5
There are some things, such as medicine and taxes, where a little knowledge is more dangerous than no knowledge.

This book does introduce many of the topics that you need to know if you have just started a small business, however there is very little depth. In the year and a half that I have been operating as an independent contractor / sole proprietor, I have already learned everything in this book on my own. It certainly would have helped when I first started, but now that I have made it through my own taxes twice, this book had very little to offer.
Rating: 3 / 5
Its an excellent book on LLC Taxes.

This is a great resource for the small business owner. Unlike many other books in the genre, Mike’s book is targeted at the small business and doesn’t waste your time or money by trying to be all things to everybody. The book understands its purpose and fulfills it well.
